Moving production to Vietnam
Your manufacturing is shifting to Vietnam (China+1) and you need engineering support close to the factory floor.
For OEMs, manufacturers and hardware startups outside Vietnam
Custom electronics, embedded firmware and industrial IoT devices, engineered in Hanoi close to where your products are built.
DeviceLab (Alpha Tech Co., Ltd.) is an engineering team in Hanoi, Vietnam that designs electronic devices for businesses: circuit and PCB design, firmware on MCUs and embedded Linux, industrial gateways, prototypes and pilot batches. You describe what the device must do; a schematic is not required to start. All design files and source code are transferred to you under contract.
Why companies look for a partner in Vietnam
Typical situations we hear from companies outside Vietnam.
Your manufacturing is shifting to Vietnam (China+1) and you need engineering support close to the factory floor.
Building or expanding an in-house hardware team is slow and expensive for a project-based need.
Commercial gateways or modules do not match your protocol, enclosure, power or environmental constraints.
Previous vendors kept the design files or source code, making it hard to change suppliers.
What we deliver
One team covering hardware, firmware and connectivity, so the device works as a system.
Schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout, component selection with second sources, DFM and pre-compliance considerations.
MCU firmware (ESP32, STM32), FreeRTOS/Zephyr, embedded Linux, OTA updates and secure boot.
Isolated RS-485, Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT, OPC UA, cellular fallback and local buffering for unreliable networks.
Working prototypes, field testing and pilot batches from tens to hundreds of units, then hand-over for volume production.
Engagement
We sign an NDA, then clarify functions, environment, interfaces, target cost and volume.
We propose the architecture (COTS, OEM/ODM or custom), timeline and a fixed-scope quote per phase.
Design, firmware and a working prototype, typically 4–8 weeks for standard embedded/IoT devices.
Pilot batch, field validation and full transfer of design files and source code.

DeviceLab is based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The legal entity is Alpha Tech Technology Investment Co., Ltd. (Tax ID 0111171963). We work with clients remotely and can meet on site in Vietnam.
Yes. Specifications, documentation and project communication can be fully in English. We also have a Chinese-language site for clients from China and Taiwan.
We sign an NDA before any detailed technical discussion. Under contract, all design files and firmware source code created for you are transferred to you.
For standard embedded or IoT devices, architecture plus a working prototype typically takes 4–8 weeks. Complex systems (edge AI vision, multi-zone audio, certification) can take 8–12 weeks.
Yes. After the prototype is validated, we can assemble pilot batches from tens to hundreds of units for field trials before volume production.
We quote fixed scope per phase (architecture, prototype, pilot) based on agreed specifications, separating one-time engineering cost from per-unit cost.
Send us a short description of the device, target volume and timeline. An engineer will reply with questions and a proposed approach.
